Saara Särmä is a feminist, activist, artist and researcher and she has a doctorate of social sciences.
Särmä is the founder and director of the feminist think tank Hattu.
She has become known in Finland and around the world from the "Congrats, you have an all male panel!" Tumblr page, where more than 2000 pictures of male panels have been published.
Särmä has worked as a researcher at the Finnish National Defence University and the University of Tampere.

Feministisen ajatushautomo Hatun perustaja ja johtaja Särmä on tullut tunnetuksi meillä ja maailmalla ”Congrats, you have an all male panel!” tumblr-sivusta, jossa on julkaistu yli 2000 kuvaa miespaneeleista.
Särmä on työskennellyt tutkijana Maanpuolustuskorkeakoulussa ja Tampereen yliopistossa.
