Introducing Crush Speaker
Shadia Rask (she/her) is a PhD with more than a decade of professional experience working on diversity, equality and non-discrimination.
She is a Research Manager at the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL), but on her second year of study leave, studying Corporate Responsibility at Hanken.
Her PhD in public health examined diversity and health in the population. Shadia has led research and development projects focusing on diversity and inclusion in working life. She was responsible for the diversity-promoting recruitment experiment of THL that was awarded the Innovator in Recruiting Award in 2021. Shadia is a Board Member of UN Women Finland.
She writes on topical societal issues as a columnist for Yle and in her blog for Taloustaito.
